The Office for the Missions USA of the Diocese of Ikot Ekpene exists to build a living bridge between the faithful in the United States and the pastoral, charitable, and evangelizing work of the Church in southern Nigeria.
Through your prayers and generous support, mission projects throughout the Diocese of Ikot Ekpene are made possible. These include assistance to rural parishes, support for priestly formation and clergy welfare, educational initiatives, healthcare outreach, and long-term development projects that serve both spiritual and material needs. Each project is rooted in the Church’s mission to proclaim the Gospel, care for the poor, and strengthen the life of faith in local communities.
This Latest Updates page has been created to keep you more closely connected to that mission. Here, we will share regular updates on ongoing projects, progress reports, photos, and stories from the field. Our goal is transparency, accountability, and gratitude—so that you may see how your support is being used and how it is bearing fruit.
Beginning now, we intend to post monthly updates highlighting current mission activities, needs, and milestones. Some updates will focus on specific projects, while others will offer broader reflections on the work of the Church in the Diocese of Ikot Ekpene and the lives touched through your generosity.
We invite you to return to this page regularly, to continue praying for our mission communities, and to remain united with us in this important work. Together, we participate in the Church’s call to bring Christ’s love, hope, and mercy to those most in need.
Thank you for your continued support of the missions.
