Ikot Ekpene Diocese, located in the Southeastern part of Nigeria, Africa, is one of the Dioceses under the suffragan of the Metropolitan of the Calabar Ecclesiastical Province of Calabar since 1993. It covers an area of 2,263 square kilometers and has a population of about 836,353 inhabitants (1991 Census) of which about 80% are Christians and about 10% of the population are Catholic.
