We are delighted to share an exciting new chapter in the Catholic education mission of the Diocese of Ikot Ekpene. Through the generosity of committed donors and a matching grant, construction will soon begin on a new secondary school at Our Lady of Fatima, expanding educational opportunities for children who currently complete only primary education at this site.
From Primary Beginnings to Secondary Horizons
For years, Our Lady of Fatima Primary School has been a place where young children receive not only academic formation but also a solid grounding in the Catholic faith. With support from sponsors through the school sponsorship program, many pupils have been able to attend school who otherwise could not afford even minimal tuition. This support has helped provide books, classroom materials, improved facilities, and opportunities for students to grow in faith and knowledge together.
Now the mission is taking a major step forward: the addition of a secondary school at the Our Lady of Fatima campus. This expansion will allow students to continue their education through the critical adolescent years — helping prepare them for higher education, vocational opportunities, and leadership roles in their communities.
